GERMANY – DIE CAST MODEL – FRIEDRICH RITTER von ROTH’S ALBATROS D. V. – 1:48 SCALE

Friedrich Ritter von Roth (1893-1918) was a leading pilot and PLM-winner during WW I. He had a total of twenty-eight confirmed victories, twenty of which were over observation balloons. Some people might think shooting down balloons was easy work, but it was dangerous. Balloons had many AA batteries nearby to protect them. Roth was known for flying an Albatros D. V. when he was with Jasta 23b. This is a limited edition model, part of “The Aviation Archive” from Corgi. It is Model Number 3,101 of the 3,940 that were produced. It comes in deluxe packaging. It has a display stand if you wish to mount it.

The carton’s overall size is 8 ½” x 8 ½” x 3.” The model comes in its original packaging, which we will not unwrap so that it is factory fresh for the new owner.
