Description
This is a special commemorative postcard for the LZ 1, which was first launched in 1900. The airship was built and flown from Lake Konstanz at Friedrichshafen. The color postcard was specifically designed and mailed with special cancellations by the Deutsche Post on 5 August 1983. It commemorates the 75th anniversary (1908-1983) of Friedrichshafen’s Zeppelin Museum
