This is an interestingzeppelin-related footlocker. The foot locker is quite stout and well made. Its overall exterior dimensions are 32″ x 17″ x 18.” The foot locker is not square. Instead, it sports an arched top. Two leather straps appear on the side. In addition, it has decorative bars that measure 18 ½” x 2.” Four decorative buttons appear on each bar. Three are on the top, two are on each side, and on the back. One lock is present in the center that was secured by a key, which is NOT present. Flanking it are two more locks that have NOT ever had keys. They are only manually locked down to help secure the locker’s top.
The locker’s top sports a zeppelin’s profile, measuring 7″ x 1,” etched into its surface. Upon opening the locker, we reveal a total of thirteen original photographs & postcards inside its lid. These tie-in quite well with the zeppelinmotif. A removable partition/tray that measures 30 ½ x 16″ also is revealed when the locker is opened. The pullout tray features six dividers on both the top and bottom. Each of the six divided trays measures 11 3/4″ x 4 ½.” If you imagine a letter divider’s appearance, this is quite similar, although on a larger scale. The tray can be removed. An identical tray is at the bottom. I do not understand why the upper tray is double-sided.
