This is a U.S. 1st edition of this book, which was originally published in London. This edition was published in 1961 and is long out of print. The book, which is liberally illustrated, deals with the German “Blitz” of WW I. This was carried out by zeppelins instead of the fixed wing aircraft and rockets used during WW II. Much consternation was stirred up in England when the zeppelin attacks began. This book chronicles both the German raids and the English efforts to defeat them. The books makes excellent reading for those with an interest in zeppelins. It is in excellent condition with no dust jacket. The book is seldom seen. This copy comes directly from my library.
