GERMANY – HINDENBURG CROSS – NEXT OF KIN
This is the Hindenburg Cross for the Next of Kin. It was given to the families of fallen soldiers from the Great War. It was often referred to as the “Widows Cross.” It is black, with NO swords through its center. It is hallmarked D. S. M. on the reverse. No ribbon is present.
