Description
This is a combination wooden and metal plaque that features a fine likeness of Prussia’s King Frederick the Great. The wooden plaque is oval-shaped and measures 11″ x 8.” In the plaque’s center is a silver-toned likeness of Frederick the Great, Prussia’s first great king. His high relief likeness measures 7″ x 5 3/4.” Below that likeness is a small engraved plaque measuring 3/4″ x 2 1/2.” This plaque commemorates “Herrn Dr. Geschke anl. D. 5 Jähr Jubiläum gen. v. B. C. Germania (Honorable Dr. Geschke on the occasion of the 5 Year Anniversary toward victory B. C. Germania). [This translation may not be 100% accurate].
