These albums were produced in the 1930’s by Waldorf Astoria of Munich. The album is complete, with all 287 cigarette cards in place. The cards were given as a premium when one bought a packet of cigarettes. For those who wanted an instant collection, one could buy the complete album with all of the cards in place. Each card measures 2 ½” x 1 3/4.” I have always found the album quite useful as a basic identification handbook. It shows many of Imperial Germany’s leading orders and decorations in full color.
