Description
This is a hard cover book complete with its dust jacket. It was published in 1977 and is long out-of-print. It measures 9 ½” x 12″ x 1.” Postcards in WW I were the ultimate patriotic expression for all the countries involved in the conflict. While many other patriotic items were available (most of which were considerably more expensive than a postcard), they allowed even children to show their support for their government and army by purchasing one. The book is liberally illustrated and shows chapters that deal with soldiers, leaders, the people, etc.
