GERMANY – NAPKIN RING – TRENCH ART – “WALKER RIDGE 1915”
This is a napkin ring that falls under the category of “Trench Art.” A hammered copper band is surmounted by an artillery shell driving band. An applied copper shield appears on the driving band. On the shield we see “Walker Ridge 1915.” It is an interesting example of Trench Art’s variety.
