ANHALT – TRUE SERVICE MEDAL – 50-YEAR – SILVER
This is a beautifully patinaed circular civil decoration for 50 years of true and faithful service to the state of Anhalt.
- The obverse of the decoration features the ruler of Anhalt’s crowned cypher
- The reverse has “Fur funfzigjahrige Diensttreue” (For Fifty Years True Service)
- The original green with white stripped ribbon is included
This decoration was given from the period of 1864 to 1918. Judging from the look of the decoration and ribbon, I would say this particular example was issued in the 19th Century.
