This is a large-format original photograph, which measures 4 1/2″ x 6 3/4,” showing a German observation airplane in flight, with snowy mountains in the background. The shot was taken from above by another airplane’s crew. On the reverse is a rubber-stamped form on which information has been entered. It states that it comes from an unidentified observation squadron.
