Description
This photograph measures 4 1/4″ x 3 1/16.” In it we can see a large observation balloon housed in a hanger. A large number of troops are gathered at the hanger’s front. Even more interesting, a royal carriage complete with liveried coachmen is present. I do not think that the royal personage(s)) had disembarked from the carriage at the time of the photograph. No information appears on the reverse to let us know which member of royalty was making this visit.
