This is a Vivat Ribbon that commemorates the Battle of Opatow under the command of Generalfeldmarschall Paul von Hindenburg on 4 October 1914. This Vivat Ribbon measures 15 ½” x 2 ½.” It is raspberry in color. Vivats generally were offered under the auspices of the German Red Cross.
