This is a Vivat Ribbon commemorating the Battle of Maubeuge, which took place on 7 September 1914. The Vivat Ribbon measures 15 3/4″ x 2 1/2.” It is lilac in color. Vivats generally were offered under the auspices of the German Red Cross.
