TABLE LAMP – VINTAGE IMPERIAL ERA – MADE IN ENGLAND.
This is a handsome heavy table lamp that weighs 3lbs. 12 oz. The richly grained wooden lamp base measures 13 inches tall and 6 inches wide at its base. The lamp is identified by its socket with a maker’s stamp that reads “S.L. & S Made in England.” The socket is an early 20th Century European style that requires a special bulb. Its socket can easily be exchanged for a modern socket and electrical cord. The cord no longer has a plug. The lamp would look exceptional on a bedside table or office desk.
