This postcard shows the Crown Prince and Princess with their four sons. Please note: the youngster with Cecilie is holding a Teddy Bear. These toys, which had not been out very long, were named after U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt. The Crown Prince is in his beloved 1. Leib-Husaren-Regiment Nr. 1’s uniform. Even after the empire collapsed, when he in uniform, it was from this regiment. The postcard was produced to benefit one of Cecilie’s favorite charities.
