Description
In this postcard Crown Prince Wilhelm is wearing the 1. Garde-Regiment zu Fuß’s uniform, including its pickelhaube. It was the most elite infantry regiment in the German Army. All the House of Hohenzollern’s princes were automatically enlisted in the regiment at birth. The postcard was never mailed.
