Description
This is a postcard that features a well-known quote from Kaiser Wilhelm II. The postcard’s obverse is bordered with Germany’s national colors: red, white, and black. Within the border is the quote which we have translated from the German as “The desire for conquest does not drive us, it is the indomitable will to retain the place in which God put us.” Its reverse features a message written in February 1917 and mailed to a woman in Berlin.
