GERMANY – PATRIOTIC PIN – TRENCH ART – ARTILLERY SHELL.
This is one of the ever-popular patriotic pins made from the driving band of an artillery shell. On the pin we see the dates “1914-1915,” which flank a small Iron Cross. Dangling from the bottom of the pin is a very small circular piece that features Kaisers Wilhelm II of Germany and Franz Josef of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
