Description
POSTCARD – FELDPOST-MAILED – FROM JASTA 10 SOLDIER
This is a postcard that features a young boy sitting at his school desk. A message is written on the obverse and it is dated February 1918. Its reverse has been stamped as “Feldpost” AND “Jasta Nr 10.” This squadron was one of four that formed JG 1, which was commanded by Rittmeister Manfred von Richthofen.
The card comes from a man who had previously been assigned to FA 251 [The postcard listed next (SKU#42-199) comes from the same man]. This card DOES exhibit a flaw, as it has been bent from top to bottom.
