Description
This postcard finds the royal couple, and heirs to the German throne, in jaunty clothes standing on a building’s front steps. They were, without a doubt, the most popular of the German royals after the Kaiser. Kronprinz Wilhelm would have been Germany’s fourth Kaiser, but those hopes vanished with the Empire’s fall in 1918.
