Description
This postcard shows Prinz Adalbert of Prussia, one of Kaiser Wilhelm II’s sons. He was the only son that served in the Navy. His other five brothers served in the Army. He is wearing a visor cap and a Breast Star on his tunic, as well as a dagger at his waist. This was mailed as a Feldpostkarte in 1917. The Cassel Post Office’s stamp was applied with such force that the stamp can be seen on the obverse!
