Description
This is a postcard depicting the Battleship S. M. S. Kaiser Wilhelm der Große, one of the five ships within the Kaiser Friedrich III Klasse. She was commissioned in 1901. She was a relic that saw little WW I service. After the war she was scrapped at Kiel. She is shown at anchor, with a number of launches beside her. The postcard was not used.
