Description
This postcard shows Princess Marie Auguste (1898-1983) of Anhalt, the wife of Prinz Joachim (1890-1920), Kaiser Wilhelm II’s youngest son. She is holding the son, Prinz Karl Franz Joseph, she bore Joachim before their divorce and his suicide in 1920. The baby looks as though he is in his christening gown.
