IMPERIAL GERMANY – CUFF LINKS – FASHIONED FROM IMPERIAL GERMAN COINS
There was a time when a Gentlemen had to use cuff links when he wore a dress shirt. This was before the more common use of buttons on shirts as we have today. Personally I prefer making a statement with the long sleeve shirts with French cuffs that require cuff links as these cuff links certainly would.
Being an “old soul” (Most everything around me is antique, including my original 1927 desk telephone, except my wife Melissa who is my trophy wife of 30+ years of marriage) I always use cuff links and have a small collection of cuff links that I use for all occasions. But not being greedy I wanted to share these with you.
Each cuff link uses two original 1 and ½ Mark Imperial German coins. They use a 1 mark coin for the exterior button hole and ½ Mark for the smaller interior hole.
Each coin is in excellent condition and you can clearly see the Hohenzollern Eagle, date, etc..
Why not make a statement when you require a dress shirt and announce to the world your love of collecting Imperial German Militaria!
