Description
Admiral Eduard von Capelle (1855-1931) was a well-known German admiral who briefly succeeded von Tirpitz as the Chief of Naval Staff. Here he is wearing an überrock with an officer’s dagger and the 1914 Iron Crosses 1st and 2nd Class. The postcard was not mailed.
