Description
This postcard shows König Friedrich August III of Saxony. He was Saxony’s final king. In this pose he is in a Saxon general’s full dress uniform, including the epaulettes and pickelhaube with vulture feathers. He also wears a sash diagonally over his chest, a sash belt, and a sword. Finally, he is wearing two breast stars and an eight-to-ten-place medal bar. The postcard was never mailed.
