Description
This color postcard shows the King of Saxony, Friedrich August III. It is a marvelous pose. He is wearing a general’s pickelhaube. The distinctive vulture feathers, which were ONLY worn by Saxon generals, adorn his helmet. The postcard was mailed in 1910 to a young woman named “Göring.”
