Description
This is a wonderful colorized portrait of Grand Duke Friedrich I of Baden. He is in full dress uniform, with general’s epaulettes, nine-place medal bar, and Breast Star. A message is written in ink on the obverse. The card was mailed in 1899 from Bavaria, with a Bavarian postage stamp.
