We have two buttons of the smaller variety for a tunic. They would have been used to secure shoulder boards for a tunic. These would be correct for either an Officer or an Enlisted Man/NCO.
On the reverse we see manufacturers hallmarking.
There are little loops on the reverse as well which the previous collector placed there and are not original to the button and can be easily removed. He added them for his convenience.
