This postcard shows Prinzessin Viktoria Luise (1892-1980). She was Kaiser Wilhelm II and Kaiserin Augusta Viktoria’s only daughter. She was married in 1913 to Herzog Ernst August of Braunschweig (1887-1953), and became the Duchess of Braunschweig. She had five children (4 males and one female). The postcard shows the Prussian Princess as a preteen. Pasted on the postcard’s reverse is another image of the young princess from a newspaper or magazine. It depicts her at an even younger age.
