Herzog (Duke) Ernst August of Braunschweig was the husband of Viktoria Luise, Kaiser Wilhelm II’s only daughter. The Duke is seen in the feldgrau attila of his Husaren-Regiment Nr 17. We also have a pair of his shoulder boards from his Infanterie-Regiment Nr 92 and a plate from his personal service. We also have an officer’s helmet from this legendary regiment, complete with the Totenkopf on the wappen.
