Description
This postcard shows an image of Princess Astrid of Sweden (1905-1935) who married King Leopold III of Belgium and became Queen Astrid. She was killed in an auto accident in 1935 while visiting Switzerland. The postcard has a small inset photo of her and a photo of a chapel that was built in her memory near the accident site. She was greatly beloved in Belgium.
