Description
Walter Höhndorff was an early winner of the PLM. His award came in July 1916. He flew in several squadrons, including Jasta 1, 14, and 14. His total tally of confirmed victories was twelve. He was killed while testing an airplane in September 1917. He is seen here wearing a feldbluse. On his tunic we see the 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class and his PLM. This postcard was removed from a photo album.
