IRON CROSS – 1914 – 1st CLASS VAULTED
This example of a 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class is vaulted. The paint on the obverse rates at about 90%. The frame shows a significant patina, as does the back of the cross. On the reverse we see a flat pin, which is pressed-in from constant wear on a tunic. It has no manufacturer’s or silver hallmarking.
