Description
Circular 100TH Anniversary medal measures 1 3/4″ in diameter. The Veteran’s Medal commemorates the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Duchy of Braunschweig’s Infanterie-Regiment Nr 92. The regiment was created in 1809, and fought bravely in the Napoleonic Wars. The central motif of this medal is the Totenkopf, which this regiment (and their sister regiment Husaren-Regiment Nr 17) wore on their headdress. No ribbon for this medal exists, but the jump ring is present.
