GERMANY – METAL PLAQUE – BARON’S COAT OF ARMS
This is a small metal plaque that measures 3 ½” x 4.” It shows a particular Baron’s (Freiherr’s) Coat-of-Arms. If I am reading the engraving correctly, it features a name as well, and he may have been attached to an Ulanen-Regiment. It also has the dates 1923/24. Two screws appear on the reverse, so it was screwed into something at some point.
