Description
BOOK – REFERENCE – AIRCRAFT OF THE ROYAL AIR FORCE SINCE 1918 BY OWEN THETFORD.
During WW I, the Royal Flying Corps morphed into the Royal Air Force, as it remains today. Owen Thetford is a well-known WW I and WW II aviation expert. This is an eighth edition of this popular book that was released in 1988. The hardcover book is in excellent condition and comes complete with its dust jacket. It contains a total of 685 pages. The book chronicles RAF aircraft from 1918 to the late 1980’s. Many famous and not-so-famous airplanes from that period are shown in great detail with charts, graphs, and a huge collection of photos. Leafing through the book, I even see the American P-51 that was used by the British in WW II and after. This is the English version, NOT the one published in the USA.
