This is a useful soft-cover book that deals with Imperial German edged weapons. It has one hundred and fifty pages filled with countless drawings of Imperial German edged weapons. A price guide is included at the back of the book. That said, it is an older book that should be used more for information that for current prices. I often caution collectors about price guides, even those that appear up-to-date. They are, in fact, merely guides or that author’s opinion of an item’s value. Too often market conditions and the state of the particular decoration are not taken into consideration. Some guides are well written and researched. Even so, the market conditions may dictate a different price, either higher or lower.
