It has three hundred eighty-two pages. The book centers on decorations for valor, describing the different decorations awarded by the USA’s Army, Air Force, and Navy. It is followed by extensive sections on Good Conduct Medals, those for long service, campaign and service, commemorative medals, proficiency medals, commendation and service ribbons, appurtenances (adjuncts or accessories), presentation cases, and MUCH more. If you want to know about U.S. medals, THIS is the book for you. The book is heavy with black and white (as well as color) photographs of the medals and the men to whom they were awarded. It provides a fascinating read!
