Description
This is a wonderful color postcard, with Generalfeldmarschall (GFM) Paul von Hindenburg’s formal portrait. He is wearing a general’s pickelhaube with its canvas cover. He sports a medal-bedecked, feldgrau uniform under his overcoat. In his left hand he holds a GFM’s interim staff. The reverse shows it was mailed from Fuhlen as a Feldpostkarte in 1915 .
