Description
This is a fine color postcard of Saxony’s King Friedrich August III(1865-1932). It shows him mounted on the parade field, with troops in the background. He is wearing a general’s dress uniform. He is also wearing a general’s pickelhaube, complete with the vulture feathers unique to Saxon generals. The postcard was not mailed.
