Description
This is a German periodical that features a photograph of an observer seated in an airplane’s rear compartment. He is working with two ground crewmen passing packages up to him so he can store them on the floor in front of his feet. It has many articles and photographs that outline war action, as well as the course of the war at home. One page in particular outlines the most recent PLM (Ritter des Ordens Pour le Mérite) winners from earlier in the month. A total of eight men were so honored, including Fliegeroberleutnant Schleich. A lot of advertising at the publication’s end shows the variety of items available in 1918 Germany.
