$50.00

This is a militärpaß for a Wilhelm Meyer, who served in Infanterie-Regiment Nr 42. He was born in 1879. He first entered the army in this regiment during 1898. Later additions to his militärpaß in the years before WW I show he was enrolled in other reserve units. He served throughout WW I. He mustered out of the army in 1919 as a forty-year-old. Along with his Militärpaß’s many attachments, we also see a “good performance” certificate in 1900, when he had completed his two years of mandatory service.
