Description
This is a period-framed listing of the action and battles seen by Infanterie-Division Nr 5. The framed item measures 17 1/4″ x 9 1/4.” The frame is a simple wooden type. As one scans down the list, one sees the many battles this division fought from 1914 to 1918. Among them were Fort Douaumont at Verdun, Mons, Somme, Soissons, Aisne-Champagne, Undine, Marne, and etc. This division fought in virtually every major battle on the Western Front during WW II!
