Description
It is a framed lithograph of Kaiser Wilhelm II in the field. It is a classic portrait of the Kaiser. Original photographs like this were dedicated and/or signed and placed in deluxe frames (including those topped by a Hohenzollern Crown) to make prized Kaiser presentation gifts. This is a good copy of the original photograph. The Kaiser stands in a generalfeldmarschall’s uniform, wearing a pickelhaube complete with its canvas cover. Below his image is a dedication and his reproduced signature, dated 1916. The lithograph, which measures 7 1/4″ x 6,” is housed in a modern-day frame measuring 13 1/4″ x 10.”
