This is a marvelous pair of Leutnant’s 2. Garde-Ulanen-Regiment M-1915 shoulder straps. The regiment was founded in 1819 during König Friedrich Wilhelm III of Prussia’s reign (he guided Prussia through the Napoleonic Wars). The regiment was garrisoned in Berlin and attached to the Garde-Korps. The shoulder boards are of the sewn-in variety, the variety most often used by junior officers. Larger than the normal shoulder board, they each measure 2 ¼” x 4 ½.” They feature a red felt backing and are in outstanding condition.
