GERMANY – CAP TALLY AND POSTCARD – S.M.S. CARMEN
This is a mini grouping of an Enlisted Man cap tally and a postcard for the S.M.S. Carmen. This vessel was a Torpedoboot. She was the greyhound of the Kaiserliche Marine and in her day she would have been equivalent to a destroyer. Swift and agile she would move in a launch her torpedoes against larger vessels.
The cap tally is black silk and the name of the vessel appears is embossed in silver.
The postcard shows the S.M.S. Carmen in port. The postcard is in excellent condition and was never mailed.
