GERMANY – IRON CROSS – 1914 – 1ST CLASS – TWO-PIECE SCREWBACK.
This is a fine example of a two-piece, screwback, 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class. The paint on its obverse is superior and rates 100%. The frame displays a very fine patina. The cross is magnetic. Its reverse features a female screw that is attached to it. A circular-shaped screw “nut” fastens it down onto the cross. No silver content or manufacturer’s hallmarks are present.
