An attractively conditioned militärpaß to a soldier who was assigned to Kampfgeschwader 7 O.H.L. Staffel 38. August Eisenberg was born in 1896, and he entered the army in May 1916. He was first posted to Flieger-Ersatz Abteilung Nr 3 in Gotha in July 1916 (this unit stamp and signature of the commander is present). The unit stamp for Staffel 38 and the signature of the Staffelführer, a Hauptmann, is also present. Two other later units are indicated by stamp and they are Flieger Abteilung Nr 10 in Böblingen-Stuttgart in 1917 and Königl. Preuss Rüst-Abteilung fur Flieger-Waffen. The last entry that I can detect is August 1918.
A very well marked militärpaß to a soldier who spent his entire career in aviation units.
